오픽노잼 IM 06 - Description 질문 대답, 설명, 묘사

 

 

Tell me about your home.

실제 오픽 질문은 더 길겠지만 이게 본론

 

뭔가에 대해 설명할 때는 명확한 Main point가 있어야 함

 

예시

1. My home isn't big.

 

all that 활용

=> My home isn't all that big

 

2. But it's not samll either

 

all that 활용

=> It's not  all that samll either

 

+ But, you know 활용 (발음 할 때 "벗 유 노우" 보다는 "벗 츄 노우")

=> But, you know, It's not  all that samll either

 

3. My favorite room is my storage room.

=> What is your favorite ~~ : ~에 대해서 뭘 가장 좋아해?

라는 질문에 보통 My favorite is ~~ 형식으로 대답하는데, 좀 어색해 보임

 

=> I like / I really like / I love ~~ 로 대답하는게 좋음

ex)

1) I love my storage room.

2) What i really love about my room is my storage room.

 

+ But I got to say 활용

=> But I got to say, What i really love about my room is my storage room. (best)

 

4. It's so spacious.

 

Just 활용

=> It's just so spacious.

 

 

1. My home isn't all that big

2. But, you know, It's not  all that samll either

3. But I got to say(= But I gatta to say), What i really love about my room is my storage room. (best)

4. It's just so spacious.

 

여기서 MP는? => 3, 4번 

 

창고에 대해 내가 어떻게 느끼는지 설명하는 부분 -> 내가 말하고 싶은 부분

 

MP 전에 설명하는 말(1, 2번)이 길어지면 채점자는 내가 무엇을 말하고 싶은지 알기 어려워짐

=> 나의 메세지가 불명확해짐

 

차라리 MP(3, 4번)을 먼저 말하고 나머지 이야기(1, 2번)를 한 후, 이야기를 이어가는게 더 좋을 수 있음.

 

예시

3. You know, I got to say(= You know, I gatta to say), What i really love about my room is my storage room. (best)

4. It's just so spacious.

1. You see, My home isn't all that big

- You see : 무언가 설명하기 전에 "자 들어봐" 같은 표현, 매우 좋은 표현

2. But, you know, It's not  all that samll either

 

이 이후에 다시 창고 이야기를 해도 됨.

5. But none of that rally matters I guess cos I love how big storage room is.
